Tie the knot aboard the Manly Ferry
Couples are being offered the unique opportunity to get married aboard the Manly Ferry on Valentine’s Day 2018.
As part of a Valentine’s Day promotion run by the NSW Registry of Births Deaths & Marriages, 24 couples will have the chance to get married aboard the Manly Ferry for $572.
The nuptials will take place on one of three decorated vessels on the way to either Circular Quay or Manly.
To be eligible to marry on 14 February 2018, couples will need to have lodged a Notice of Intended Marriage by 12 January 2018 to comply with the requirement to give one month’s notice.
Attorney General Mark Speakman said this is the first time the registry has conducted weddings on the water.
“Valentine’s Day is the most romantic day of the year and what better way to say ‘I do’ than aboard one of Sydney’s iconic ferries,” Mr Speakman said.
