You may be interested to know that most roads in NSW are either Regional or Local roads. Maintenance and infrastructure on these roads is the responsibility of local Councils. The NSW Government provides funding grants to councils to help maintain these roads.
The NSW Government and Transport for NSW are responsible for major arterial roads like highways and State roads.
