Dine & Discover NSW has been extended

From 3 December 2021, Dine & Discover NSW will expand from 4 to 6 vouchers.

Customers who have already applied will automatically get an additional 2 x $25 vouchers in the Service NSW app by this date.

Customers who received the original vouchers in paper format can contact Service NSW after 3 December 2021 to confirm how they would like to receive the 2 additional vouchers.

New customers can now apply for 6 vouchers, 3 x $25 Dine NSW vouchers and 3 x $25 Discover NSW vouchers.

How Dine & Discover NSW works

If you haven’t already, NSW residents aged 18 and over can apply for Dine & Discover NSW vouchers.

Vouchers are now valid until Tuesday 30 June 2022.

The scheme has been extended to give NSW residents more time to use their vouchers and support local businesses given the easing of COVID-19 restrictions.

How to use the vouchers

  • Vouchers can be used

    • 7 days a week, including public holidays
    • at participating NSW businesses registered as COVID safe
  • You must redeem your vouchers in person at participating businesses.

  • Vouchers are single-use and cannot be used for third-party delivery services, tobacco, alcohol or gambling.

  • If you have successfully applied for the vouchers, they will be available in your Service NSW Mobile app on your smartphone and sent to your account email.
  • If you use less than the $25 value of the voucher, the remaining value is forfeited and may not be used later nor reimbursed by the business.

How to apply for vouchers

To participate in Dine & Discover NSW, you will need to have a MyServiceNSW account.

You will also need:

  • 2 proof of identity documents such as an Australian driver licence, Medicare card or Australian passport. The names must match on your documents
  • a smartphone to download the Service NSW app and use the vouchers.

If you do not have a smartphone or need additional support, call 13 77 88.

Dine & Discover NSW - How to apply and use vouchers

We've made using your Dine & Discover NSW vouchers easy.

The first step is to apply for your vouchers.

Download or open the Service NSW app on your smartphone and create an account or log in to your MyServiceNSW account. Click on vouchers and follow the prompts, or go to, search Dine & Discover and select Apply for a Dine & Discover NSW voucher. 

Create an account or log in to your MyServiceNSW account and follow the prompts. You'll receive a confirmation email if your application is successful.

Now it's time to get your vouchers. Open the Service NSW app home screen and select the vouchers icon. If you don't have the Service NSW app you'll find your vouchers in your confirmation email.

To find participating businesses to use your vouchers, open your Service NSW app and select vouchers from the home screen. Click on one of your vouchers then select find a business. Or you can go to search and select Dine & Discover then click on find a participating business. 

When you're ready to use your vouchers open the Service NSW app and present your voucher QR code. The business will scan your voucher when you're ready to pay. If you received your vouchers via email you can present them from your device or download and print them.

Vouchers can only be used once up to the value of $25.

You can use your Dine & Discover NSW vouchers seven days a week including public holidays.
