The Open Day will be held at 55 Sturt Place, Dareton from 10am to 2pm and is an opportunity for the local community to look through the facility, explore the recent renovations, meet the staff and obtain information on the range of services provided.
The community will also have the opportunity to meet and engage with staff and enjoy a delicious barbecue lunch at the park directly across from the clinic.
Health Service Manager at Buronga HealthOne, Kevin O’Neill said the new clinic became operational in August 2023 following a $400,000 refurbishment to renovate the clinical rooms.
“This is the building’s third refurbishment, and it has been reborn as a modern, fit-for-purpose, multidisciplinary clinic,” Mr O’Neill said.
“We are really excited to show off our newly refurbished premises.”
“We welcome the local community and look forward to helping them to achieve their health goals now and well into the future.”
The Dareton Outreach Clinic hosts services including regular primary health clinics, visiting obstetrics and telehealth with numerous medical specialties, including endocrinology and psychiatry.
Various services are held there throughout the week, depending on local demand.
