Fees for NSW Fair Trading services
The fees for NSW Fair Trading services are adjusted every year to account for the increase in prices of consumer goods and services.
Fees for services this financial year
Every year, fees are automatically adjusted. The annual review enables businesses and consumers to plan for small, regular price increases, rather than irregular and large increases.

Online licensing discounts
An increasing number of licence renewal services provided by NSW Fair Trading are available online. Licensing transactions made online via your MyServiceNSW account attract a 10% discount to the processing component of the fee or $5, whichever is greater.
When we refuse an application, we have already incurred the cost of processing that application. Under the Licensing and Registration (Uniform Procedures) Act 2002, we keep the processing fee to cover some of our costs. We refund the balance of the total fee in instances when we refuse an application.
