About the Project

The Blacktown Aquatic Centre will be expanded and modernised providing refurbished indoor and outdoor spaces, new memorial park, cafe and a high-quality fitness centre. The centre will feature heated pools, gymnasium, beautiful gardens and outdoor seating and water play facilities, providing healthy and diverse activities for all ages.

Project Scope

The project will include: 

  • The refurbishment of the pool arrival area.
  • New community rooms for group sessions.
  • A new gymnasium for health and fitness therapy.
  • A new indoor heated pool.
  • A new pump and filtration system.
  • New public playground and water play facilities.
  • New offices for staff amenities and storage.
  • Deliver landscaping works and new shade structures for outdoor seating spaces.
