About the Project

The Blacktown City Arts and Cultural Centre Project celebrates Blacktown’s exciting arts scene, championing its diverse culture and enabling future generations to contribute and benefit from this new cultural space. The Centre is designed to accommodate state-of-the art theatres, galleries, public exhibition space, and annual events.

Project Scope

  • Demolition of the existing development at the site
  • Construction of a new, purpose-built, multi-level centre 
  • Provide gallery spaces, retail areas, performance space, workshop studios, offices and artist studios
  • Associated amenities and services
  • External works including parking, disabled access, drop-off zones, associated lighting, landscape elements, gathering spaces and signage.
