Is it time for a health break for everyone during work hours to help people stay healthy?
Our very own cardiologist, Dr Faraz Pathan presented this idea at TEDx Talks in Katoomba, exploring the results of his research trial run at Nepean Hospital.
The results…astounding.
In just 3 short months staff participating in the trial doing short and simple exercises at work had improved their weight, muscle mass and capacity to exercise. Importantly staff in the trial also showed an improvement in psychological wellbeing.
