To celebrate the upcoming completion of the new Nepean Hospital clinical tower Western Sydney and Blue Mountains communities are invited to an exclusive behind the scenes look of the new hospital before it opens.
At the Nepean Hospital Open Day guests will receive a guided tour from our very own staff, learn about hospital services and see firsthand the new purpose-built departments.
Designed with and for our community as part of a $1 billion expansion and upgrade, the hospital tower will bring about a new era of health care to our region that transforms the way our community access care.
As one of the tallest hospital buildings in Australia, at 14 storeys, the new tower will include an emergency department, 18 birthing suites, a neonatal intensive care unit, 16 operating theatres, more than 200 additional beds and a roof-top helipad.
The Nepean Hospital Public Open Day will be a COVID-safe event. After the tour, there will be food stalls and a range of different health information stands.
Tickets to the public open day are free but bookings are essential and spaces are limited.
