Warren Health Service is made up of a Multipurpose Service with an emergency department, inpatient and residential aged care beds, as well as community health services.

Living and working in Warren

Warren has a population of around 2,000 people and is a vibrant town boasting many natural attractions and a community who work together to keep the town connected and thriving.

Warren is also known as the wool and cotton capital of Australia and is the gateway to the natural wonder - the Macquarie Marshes. On the outskirts of town is the Tiger Bay Wetlands, home to numerous species of birds and aquatic flora. At the Wetland Centre. You can get a coffee, view the art gallery and learn more about the regions environment culture and heritage. Learn more about Aboriginal Culture at the Beemunnel – a significant cultural site where you can walk the interpretative trail.

Events in Warren include the agricultural Show, twilight races, Nevertire rodeo, campdrafting, polocrosse, the Macquarie River Fishing Classic and is on route in the Tour de OROC.

Warren is a 6 hour drive from Sydney and a 1 hour drive to Dubbo. From Dubbo there are direct flights to Sydney (1 hour), Brisbane (1.5 hours) and Melbourne (2 hours).
