Equality and achievement the focus of 2022 NSW Women’s Week
Several events that promote and support women’s education, employment, and wellbeing will help to celebrate NSW Women’s Week.
Running from 7-13 March, the week also promotes gender equality while celebrating the social, cultural and political achievements of women.
More than 20 events are scheduled across the state, including financial security workshops, career guidance for young women, dance classes, bike maintenance workshops, and a wellbeing day for expectant women from culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
Minister for Women Bronnie Taylor said the scope of events reflects both the creativity and diversity of NSW women and will help communities celebrate the diverse contributions of women from all walks of life.
“From Milparinka to Westmead, we are bringing women together to celebrate and inspire one another,” Mrs Taylor said.
“This week will deliver a wide range of practical supports that will benefit women right across our fabulous state.”
