Since its launch in August 2017, the NSW Government has delivered the $500 million Growing Local Economies Fund to enable crucial projects that support job creation and economic growth in regional NSW. The Fund is designed to unlock growth in regional NSW by delivering infrastructure that supports projects of economic significance and that will deliver new regional economic opportunities.

The Growing Local Economies Fund has allocated funding to 66 investment-ready projects that build on each region’s strengths and help drive economic growth.

A strategic review has been undertaken which will inform the design of future economic activation programs, including any remaining funding to be committed under the Growing Local Economies Fund.
