Victims Services provides information, referrals and programs to victims of crime in NSW. We are a part of the Department of Communities and Justice.

Charter of Victims Rights

The Charter of Victims Rights is outlined in the Victims Rights and Support Act 2013. It sets out how victims of crime are to be treated and assisted in NSW.

About Victims Services

Victims Services sits within the Department of Communities and Justice. We administer the Victims Rights and Support Act 2013.

We provide access to counselling and financial assistance for victims of crime in NSW under the Victims Support Scheme. We also promote the Charter of Victims Rights and deliver related programs.
