Cootamundra-Gundagai De-amalgamation
What’s this about?
Electors and the council from within the Cootamundra-Gundagai LGA are invited to make submissions on a council proposal to constitute 2 new LGAs, under section 204 of the Local Government Act 1993 from the splitting of the Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council LGA.
If approved, the effect would be to re-create the former Cootamundra LGA and Gundagai LGA.

The Minister for Local Government will consider all submissions prior to deciding whether to refer the proposal to the NSW Local Government Boundaries Commission.
