Help always available for young people through Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service
Any young person experiencing emotional, behavioural or social difficulties is urged to contact the Far West LHD's Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) on 8080 1100 to speak with one of our friendly team members today.
CAMHS is a specialist mental health service for children and adolescents up to the age of 17.
CAMHS offer short to medium term assistance to children, adolescents and their family/carers who are experiencing emotional, behavioural and social difficulties.
We use both individually tailored and family focused interventions to improve the wellbeing of the consumer.
If you or someone you know is wanting to talk to someone, feel free to call or drop into the Community Health Centre (2-4 Sulphide Street) to speak with one of our friendly CAMHS team members today.
You can also call 8080 1100 and ask for a CAMHS team member.
