Major assets, acquisitions and disposals
This page provides details of Department of Customer Service major assets, acquisitions and disposals, and links to where further information can be found.
Clause 6(2) of the Government Information (Public Access) Regulation 2018 requires that government departments make publicly available certain additional 'open access information'.
Clause 6(2)(a) specifies that this includes a list of the department’s major assets, other than land holdings, appropriately classified and highlighting major acquisitions during the previous financial year.
Clause 6(2)(b) requires that government departments make publicly available under open access information the total number and total value of properties disposed of by the department during the previous financial year.
Major DCS assets and acquisitions
During the reporting year, DCS owned 12 major assets:

- a property at 23 Bethlehem St, Cringila NSW 2502
- a property at 46 Birdwood St, Corowa NSW 2646
- a property at 40 Gilmore Place, Queanbeyan West NSW 2620
- a property at 25 Sullivan Rd, Douglas Park NSW 2569
- a property at 36 Murphy Circuit, Ashtonfield NSW 2323
- a property at 67 Andrew Rd, Valentine NSW 2280
- a property at 190 Woodward St, Orange NSW 2800
- a property at 59 Icely Rd, Orange NSW 2800
- a property at 21 Libra Cl, Elermore Vale NSW 2287
- a property at 28 Libra Cl, Elermore Vale NSW 2287.
No major assets were acquired during 2023-24.
The major assets register now includes additional items following the implementation of stronger processes to identify and report on assets that met with the agency's definition of a 'major asset'. Therefore, the information for 2022-23 varies from those published for previous financial years.
Disposals
No major assets were disposed of during 2023-24.
