Cudgen coastal bar webcam
Live webcam vision and weather updates to help you prepare for a safe boat trip across the Cudgen coastal bar.
About Cudgen coastal bar
Cudgen is the former name of Kingscliff, a quiet Tweed Coast town which fills to capacity at holiday times. Surrounded by white sandy beaches, peaceful coastal estuaries and world heritage national parks and popular for surfing and beach fishing, Kingscliff is on the banks of Cudgen Creek. This webcam shows the entrance to Cudgen Creek across a dangerous bar.
Plan ahead
The entrance is shallow and dangerous and immediately offshore is a shallow reef which breaks at times. Entry should not be attempted without expert local knowledge.
When planning a bar crossing or going offshore, carefully consider the suitability of your vessel to handle the conditions.
