Classical Greek Continuers Stage 6 Syllabus (2013)

This course provides opportunities for students to explore the ideas, culture, and stories of Ancient Greece. Students will learn how Classical Greek has influenced languages, cultures, books and traditions.

There are course prescriptions for the Classical Greek Continuers course.

Preliminary (120 indicative hours)

Students will have the opportunity to read original Classical Greek texts and to develop the skills needed to study the prescribed texts for the HSC course.

HSC (120 indicative hours)

Students will have the opportunity to analyse prescribed Classical Greek texts and to develop skills needed to understand unseen texts.
