This data reports on the number of students who achieved a Top Achiever in Course result in 2024. View the gender, location and socio-economic status of students.
About the statistics
In 2024, there were 878 Top Achievers in Course results.
The Top Achievers in Course are the students who achieved one of the highest places in an HSC course, and achieved a result in the highest possible band (Band 6 or E4).
The maximum number of places in the Top Achievers depends on the course candidature:
- More than 10,000 students will have 20 places
- More than 1,000 students and up to 10,000 students will have 10 places
- 1,000 or fewer students will have up to 5 places.
