The works
Transport for NSW advises that the Water Wetlands and Coastal Science Division of the Department of Planning and Environment have deployed wave measuring apparatus in coastal waters within the Tasman and Coral Seas off the North Coast of NSW as part of an ongoing coastal hazards study.
Navigation Advice
Wave measuring apparatus which include a solar powered wave measuring buoy exhibiting a flashing yellow light at night and paired yellow/orange floats will be deployed at various locations during the period.
Vessel operators are advised to navigate with care when in the vicinity of any wave measuring apparatus and not to tie off to the buoys.
This navigation advice remains in place for the duration of the works.
