With a disaster declaration for their area, affected communities and individuals can access a range of special assistance measures.
NSW Disaster Assistance Arrangements
Support for local councils to manage the cost and impact of a disaster and restore essential public assets is made under the NSW Disaster Assistance Arrangements. Local councils can submit a claim or apply the information to the needs of the community.
