What’s this about?

The Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) is seeking feedback on the draft NSW Sexual Violence Plan 2022-2027.

The NSW Sexual Violence Plan will replace the existing NSW Sexual Assault Strategy 2018–2021.

This plan is being developed alongside and complements the draft NSW Domestic and Family Violence Plan 2022-2027.

Both plans intend to align with and respond to the next National Plan to End Violence against Women and Children 2022-2032, which is currently being finalised and due to be released in October 2022.

During August, DCJ is running consultations with key stakeholders and is seeking feedback from the NSW community.
