Page types

Choose a page template type and follow the guide to create your new web page.

Agency template

The Agency template is the main landing page for your agency. It should be used like a website homepage and not for any other child pages.

Article template

An article page can be created for general news and ministerial media releases, as well as agency-specific announcements. A view of your article will automatically display in relevant news listing pages and latest news components.

Case study template

A guide to create and showcase your project or pilot on the nsw.gov.au site by using the case study template.

Event template

Create an event page to help customers find event details including date, location, cost and description. Events pages are useful for presenting a list of upcoming events.

Landing Page template

The Landing Pages are used as an entry point for the audience to find content. The Landing Page should link the audience to relevant content, not display lengthy pieces of information.

Resource template – single and multi-page

Resource pages are web pages for documents. A resource page can have files attached or be entirely converted to digital content and used instead of the original downloadable file. A resource can be a single web page or turned into a booklet style multi-page resource with an index and child pages.

Standard Page template

The Standard Page is a fixed, 2 column layout template with built in features including Listen (Text to Talk), Download to PDF, Print this page and Share this page. This template is used for most standard content on nsw.gov.au.

Rules page template

The Rules template can be used for policy, regulatory or legislation focused content to make it more easily understood. Rules pages are written in a more formal way, with links to the relevant legislation. The Rules template is a variation of the standard page template.
