The largest cultural investment since the Sydney Opera House, the new Powerhouse Museum will be the first state cultural institution located in Parramatta. There will be 18,000 square metres of exhibition and public space, providing increased access to the museum’s extraordinary collection and it’s expected to attract 2 million visitors annually.
The NSW Government recently awarded a $2.16 billion contract to deliver the next stage of tunnelling on the mega Sydney Metro West project. By 2024, Sydney will have 31 metro railway stations and a 66 kilometre standalone metro railway system, revolutionising the way our city travels. The Sydney Metro West project alone will help double rail capacity between Greater Parramatta and the Sydney CBD, transforming Sydney for generations to come.

With the NSW Government enabling affordable spaces for researchers, innovators, early-stage companies and entrepreneurs to incubate, test and scale their ideas – and Atlassian’s future Australian HQ as a key anchor for the area – Tech Central will become the recognised home of breaking new ground.
