There are a lot of things to think about after having your baby, including:
- your post-birth recovery
- being aware of the signs of postpartum depression and getting support, if needed
- keeping track of your baby's health checks and vaccinations
- finding information on caring for your baby
- monitoring your baby's key development milestones.
You’ll also need to complete paperwork in order to:
- register the birth of your baby
- enrol your baby in Medicare
- finalise or apply for any family assistance payments, if eligible.
