Emergency accommodation is available for people affected by floods. Find information online about the types of urgent accommodation or call Service NSW on 13 77 88.
If you urgently need accommodation that is not related to floods, call Link2home on 1800 152 152 for an information and telephone referral service open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) is one of the state's main providers of crisis accommodation and emergency housing, catering for:
- low income earners in need of social or affordable housing to rent
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
- people experiencing family or domestic violence
