Subsidence Advisory NSW Privacy Policy

Subsidence Advisory NSW is part of the Department of Customer Service. We recognise the importance of protecting the privacy of information collected about customers and visitors to our sites, in particular information that is capable of identifying an individual ("personal information"). We do this by handling personal information in a responsible manner and in accordance with the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (NSW). We will not provide your personal information to third parties for any purposes not already stated in this privacy notice, or to which you have not otherwise consented, unless required, or authorised, by law to do so. We will not sell your details to third parties.

Security

We strive to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of personal information submitted to our site. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be totally secure.

We will take reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from loss, unauthorised access, use, modification, disclosure, or other misuse. Physical measures, such as building and equipment security, are used in conjunction with digital technology, such as data encryption and firewalls, to minimise unauthorised access to information.

In addition, our employees and the contractors who provide services related to our information systems are obliged to respect the confidentiality of any personal information held by us. However, we will not be held responsible for events arising from unauthorised access to your personal information.
